After the havoc caused by devastating rain
and horrendous floods it can only be a matter of hours before the Global
Warming brigade claim that the disaster proves them right.
It proves nothing of the kind, what it actually demonstrates is that the old summers of my boyhood, torrential rains
and resulting flooding of my youth, have returned. This was the kind of weather
that started the great exodus of holiday makers seeking the sun in France and Spain.
The current floods were actually caused
when a hot weather front collided head on with a cold weather front, the impact
of which is usually buffered my a third and moderate weather front. However, for
some reason, only known to nature, the moderate weather front has been delayed
and the resulting collision of the two extreme and opposite weather fronts is causing
the storms. When the moderate front nudges them apart normal weather will rapidly return.
But do not expect those seeking to make a profit out of other people’s misery to withhold from banging the drum of global warming.

Gordon Brown will raise millions in taxes on the back of global warming and the ridiculous notion that CO2 causes a rise in temperature. (CO2 levels actually mimic the changes in temperature, not cause them.)
I hear two scientist are claiming the Sun does not raise the Earth’s temperature – what planet are they from?
